This website is designed to help you become more familiar with various topics related to vision:  Vision and learning, Sports Vision Training, Developmental Delay, Strabismus and Amblyopia, as well as visual recovery from brain injury.  Scientific references are available to you by clicking the Research button in the upper portion of this page.

This website is also designed to help you, as a parent, to fully understand the process of vision therapy and to accommodate this new therapy into your family’s schedule. Vision therapy involves once-a-week office visits as well as daily practice sessions at home, and both of these activities require active parent participation, consistency, and follow-through.  It’s not an easy task to fit new activities into already-busy lives, but rest assured that the end results will be well worth the effort. Vision therapy helps a child achieve his or her full potential and the results can be seen in improved school and sports performance, completion of homework, increased attention span, and growth in self-esteem.  This is truly a life-changing process which benefits not only the child but the whole family!
